The Pharmacy Show, NEC Birmingham

We decided to make a short journey to visit the Pharmacy Show at the NEC last Monday.

We were keen to widen our professional contacts in this specialist area and we were not disappointed.  We were able to spend some time making contact with lawyers and solicitors in the healthcare sector who had stands and were willing to spend a bit of time talking about their specialisations and whether we would be able to work with them on occasion.  It was a success as we saw approximately 15 companies and I guess we would say approximately half were good potential future contacts particularly in areas where we are keen to expand our activity such as the West Midlands and the south west region.  We exchanged lots of business cards!

We were very impressed with the show – there was lots of activity and considerably more people attending than we’d anticipated.

We drove back down the M6 in the pouring rain happy with our day and discussing the fantastic result at Medina Chicago for the European boys: probably the biggest successful comeback in modern sport – fantastic!
